Lockdown Gift Edit: Gift some love to the ladies

June 1st, 2020

Let’s be honest… we’re all struggling to adjust to our new (less satisfactory) normal as Covid-19 is taking over the world and lockdown goes on and life as we knew it becomes more of a distant memory. More and more special occasions are taking place behind closed doors and gifts are being purchased online.

Do you have a wife or girlfriend who’s facing a birthday in lockdown?

Here’s our selection of lockdown gifts that won’t break the bank (banks… remember them?). Also, all are effective solutions for the lady slowly or rapidly losing her sparkle, battling home school and those who simply cannot face unloading the dishwasher ONE MORE TIME!

We get that everyone’s pinching the pennies so our selections vary in price, with plenty under £50. Plus, we donate 10% of our commissions to charity, so putting your hand in your pocket really is a win, win situation.

GARDEN GIN

If she’s self-medicating with gin every night, sat outside in your newly styled Corona garden, deliver the summer senses with Elderflower & Cucumber Pixie Tears.

WORK IT OUT

If she’s obsessing with doing You Tube home workout vids in the garden (and ‘gramming her every move), she’s gonna need this effortlessly cool Gaiim Yoga Mat to really look the part.

DOMESTIC GODDESS

If she’s killing time by slaving away in the kitchen, treat her to a fancy Le Creuset apron to protect her best PJs.

BEAUTY QUEEN

If she’s missing her regular beauty treatments and the lines are starting to show, this delightful Elemis Rose Cleansing Balm will definitely help.

SELF-HELP

If her mental state is on the decline, this Aromatherapy Oils Wellbeing Collection could save her life (and yours)…

SNAP HAPPY

If she’s documenting the 2020 lockdown with arts, craft and memories, treat her to a trendy Polaroid Camera.

Note: we’ve completely erased jewellery, handbags and shoes from our list of lockdown gifts. Normal service will resume in future, but we find looking at our nice stuff a bit painful at the moment, so have focused on gifts for the here and now.
